We know that there are a lot of awesome stories and testimonies out there. If you would like to share your stories of what our awesome God has done for you, please feel free to post them. I have grown to know the Love of God in an awesome powerful way. One being a worshipper, but secondly going throug a divorce. It is amazing how much you can learn and how much our Heavenly Father wants to teach us in our everyday lives and circumstances if we will just let Him. I have not only come into a more intimate knowing of Him, but of His Peace and Love. It is so awesome! In our lowest moments we have someone who is closer than a brother to us, or even our spouse.
I have found it is in these lowest moments of my life, just how strong my faith in Him is, or sometimes is not. What amazes me the most though, is His abounding love, and the Peace that surpasses all understanding.
To have your heart captured and set free at the same time, is a beautiful and amazing thing.I have, in the past walked in some extremely dark places, places of rebellion self destruction and without the love of Christ i would with out a doubt not be around to write this today.but He came after me and loved me where i was at and i have since experienced true deliverence through Christ in every area of my life. and the best thing is that this is not my testimony. my testimony is TODAY i am in love with Jesus and TODAY I am loved unconditionally. and from this moment foward I am free. free to be made whole and holy to God by the blood of Jesus Christ. free to walk as friend of God. to be held and loved and comforted and be in His presence right now. to be called His son today. remember your testimony is "from this moment foward" who is God to you right now. and the past can be just that the past don't let your past haunt you THe love of Christ is right now.
It is truely amazing how awesome our God is. There are times in my life that I look around and see all these horrible things that are going on. But i take comfort in knowing He is my comforter. My Jesus, My Life. He guides every step of the way, even when I mess up. Thankyou Jesus.

I've been in Afghanistan now for 3 months, following a 3 month mobilization training at Camp Shelby, MS. I'm in the Ohio National Guard. Prior to all this I was serving on the Worship Team at my home church, playing guitar and quite content in what I was doing. My home church, a Four Square Gospel church of about 1800 members, is known for being quite contemporary in our worship, playing almost all the new stuff as soon as it comes out. My 1st week at Camp Shelby I was sooo disappointed when I attened the chapel service - it was dry and the music was not very good and very few people attended. I was in a desert place - and it stayed that way for the entire three months. I was dying to play guitar again and worship my Lord with new songs! But I had no guitar and in my quiet times with God He would reassure me that everything was OK - He is with me always, I would hear Him say.
After the mobilization training was complete I was off to Afghanistan to complete my 1 year deployment. I reluctantly attended my service there and God showed up - in a BIG way! The contemporary worship service was called ChapelNext and it was just what I had left in my home town, except that everyone there was in a uniform. The service is well attended by Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and I was soon playing guitar again every Sunday, worshipping my Savior in the best way that I know how! I have been able to share some songs with the rest of the team that were new to them, and they have shared songs with me that I have never played before. I've gotten really close to some new friends in the Lord and this whole thing is turning into such a blessing for the Glory of God - and not for the Glory of me! Next Sunday, Easter Sunday, I have the priviledge to travel with the General and play Easter Resurection songs for soldiers that are stationed in remote parts of the country in small out-posts and do not have a Praise Team like we have at my base. God is doing some wonderful things here - keep your soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines in your prayers.
